Margrat is the latest Custom Deliveries NPC for players to check out in Final Fantasy XIV. Margrat was released as part of FFXIV patch 6.5 and features a new way for crafters and gatherers to earn some sweet experience and scrips. Of course, you need to unlock her first before you are able to do all of this.
How to find Margrat in FFXIV
There are some requirements you must meet before you are able to unlock Margrat and her custom deliveries in FFXIV. The first of these is you must have completed the main scenario up until the point where you finish the quest “Going Haam.” This is a MSQ from patch 6.4, so if you aren’t pretty close to being caught up on the story, you’ll need to do that.
In addition, you must have completed the side quest “Go West, Craftsman.” This is a required quest for other previous Custom Deliveries, so it is likely you’ve already done this one. But if you haven’t, head to Mor Dhona and speak to Lydirlona at X: 22.3, Y: 6.8 to begin this side quest.
Once you have those requirements fulfilled, change to whatever level 80 or higher crafter or gatherer you desire and then head to Old Sharlayan. You can find the starting quest, “A Request of One’s Own” from Theopauldin at X: 13.8, Y: 15.0. It is near the Scholar Harbor crystal if you want to teleport closer. Follow this questline to unlock Margrat.
What to expect from the FFXIV Margrat Custom Deliveries
Margrat is a researcher who works a bit too much. As such, her and her team need you to craft or gather various items to make their lives easier while they work, such as cushions to rest their backs against. All of the Custom Deliveries items are level 80 or higher, so you need to have a crafter or gatherer that is high enough to do that.
A quick tip I love to use when leveling up a crafter, in particular, is to use a level 90 crafter I have like Weaver to make the materials as high quality with its collectible rating as possible. Then I switch to the class I’m trying to level up (Leatherworker currently) and turn in the collectibles for it to get the full rewards. Remember you can only do six turn-ins a week for Margrat, so it will be a few weeks before you max out her five-level satisfaction.
Final Fantasy XIV is available for the PS4, PS5, and PC. It will also release for the Xbox Series X/S in Spring 2024.
