How to Unlock Thok ast Thok (Extreme) in FFXIV

Much like A Realm Reborn, Final Fantasy XIV offers Extreme Trials for its Heavensward expansion. One such Extreme Trial you can unlock in FFXIV is the level 60 Thok ast Thok (Extreme). Far more difficult than the Hard version, it adds extra mechanics to the mix. However, it also grants players some extra rewards as a result.

In order to unlock Thok ast Thok (Extreme), several requirements must be met. First, players must have completed Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward, and from there must complete the quest “The Gods of Eld.” Undertaking that quest will unlock Contaiment Bay S1T7, which will grant you access to the Sephirot fight. Once these requirements are met, head to the Rising Stones in Mor Dhona (X:6, Y:5) and pick up the quest “Thok Around the Clock.”

Following this questline will unlock Thok ast Thok (Extreme) at The Dravanian Forelands (X:27.7, Y:41.0). Unlike the Hard version, unique weapons will drop along with the chance to get a rare mount. As usual, the Rose Lanner Whistle isn’t guaranteed. Thankfully, players can run this Trial unsync’d, which makes this fight a walk in the park. That said, you can still challenge Ravana Extreme in all of his glory through the Party Finder, or by coordinating with other players.

Final Fantasy XIV is available for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC.
