“Once a revered deity, Asura was betrayed by his fellow gods and stripped of all his powers,” Capcom say about the story. “Consumed by anger at the injustice he has suffered and swearing vengeance, Asura discovers he can use this fury to his advantage and turn it against his enemies.” Hey, that’s like God of War in reverse!

Asura’s Wrath’s big bullet point is that you can control Asura even during cutscenes. Capcom and CyberConnect2 are hoping to make it a game that comes off more as a TV drama than a movie. It’s still a ways off from release, though. We won’t be seeing Asura’s Wrath until 2012.
