Immortals Fenyx Rising Gets Even More Animated in Its New Trailer

A new Immortals Fenyx Rising animated trailer is here! This brings the official count up to two. But while the first was a very deliberate crossover with Adventure Time and appeared in that style, this one goes for its own look to show the challenges Fenyx will face.

Ubisoft didn’t reveal which animation studio worked on this new video. It does seem to take cues from both anime and western animation, with Fenyx performing over-the-top attacks against monsters like a cyclops and minotaur. We get to see attacks with various weapons, like axes, and even how helpful Fenyx’s wings can be. All of this is set to The Heavy’s “How You Like Me Now?”

Here’s the new Immortals Fenyx Rising animated trailer.

Immortals Fenyx Rising is an action-RPG that seems to have The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild influences. Players follow Fenyx, who has been shipwrecked on an island, as they attempt to save the Greek gods from Typhon by fighting mythological enemies and solving puzzles.

However, it won’t be limited to Greek mythology or only have Fenyx as a hero. Ubisoft announced its add-ons will bring two more playable characters to the game. (One of them will even have a different style of gameplay for their adventure.) There will also be DLC that focuses on Chinese mythology.

Immortals Fenyx Rising will debut on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PC, and Google Stadia on December 3, 2020, and a free Google Stadia demo is available.
