Japan’s Third Game Boy Color Game On The eShop Is Balloon Fight GB

Japan is getting its third Game Boy Color game on the Nintendo 3DS Virtual Console. Next week, they’ll get to play Balloon Fight GB.

 

While a follow-up to the NES Balloon Fight, titled Balloon Kid, was released on the Game Boy in the U.S. and Europe, Japan never saw that game. Instead, they got Balloon Fight GB, which was a Game Boy Color remake of Balloon Kid. 

 

Balloon Fight GB will be released on October 19th in Japan for 600 yen (about $8). The NES Balloon Fight was given away to early 3DS buyers as part of Nintendo’s 3DS Ambassador Program.
