Jump Force is coming to Switch as Jump Force: Deluxe Edition, and it now has a release date of August 27, 2020 in Japan and Asia. Bandai Namco shared a release date trailer and additional details.

First, here’s the new Jump Force: Deluxe Edition release date trailer from Bandai Namco:

The new Switch release of the game includes the Season 1 Character Pass to start out with a roster of over 50 playable characters. The game will have online and offline battles against friends and other players. Furthermore, the Switch release of Jump Force: Deluxe Edition will feature a new and exclusive 3 vs. 3 mode. This new offline mode allows six friends to take control of a character and battle it out in two teams of three. Each player basically select a character and take control when they get tagged into battle. It will require a new kind of strategy that involves tagging between players on the battlefield.

Furthermore, first-print bonuses of the physical edition include the following items:

  • Frieza’s small pod
  • Three Avatar Suits (Frieza Soldier’s Battle Jacket, Pirate Coat, Fourth Hokage Cloak)
  • Item set useful in the beginning of the game
  • Jump Logo T-shirt
  • Pirate Logo T-shirt
  • V-Jump Hoodie
