Kid Icarus: Uprising, Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon Sell Over 1 Million

Nintendo have released updated sales figures for their Nintendo 3DS games as of March 31st, 2013. Most notably, Kid Icarus: Uprising, released in March 2012, has crossed the 1 million mark worldwide. Uprising was developed by Super Smash Bros. creator Masahiro Sakurai and was heavily promoted as an online multiplayer game for the 3DS.

 

Take a look at the sales figures below:

 

Super Mario 3D Land – 8.29 million

Mario Kart 7 – 8.08 million

New Super Mario Bros. 2 – 6.42 million

Animal Crossing: New Leaf – 3.86 million (Japan-only)

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D – 2.95 million

Nintendogs + cats – 2.70 million

Paper Mario: Sticker Star – 1.97 million

Pokémon Rumble Blast – 1.29 million

Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon – 1.22 million

Kid Icarus: Uprising – 1.18 million

Mario Tennis Open – 1.11 million

 

All sales figures mentioned above include sales of Nintendo 3DS hardware bundles as well as download versions.
