In Kirby Triple Deluxe, You Need To Rescue King Dedede

Nintendo have updated the official website for Kirby: Triple Deluxe with new information, screenshots and videos.

 

The game’s story involves King Dedede, who Kirby must rescue from Taranza, the game’s antagonist. In order to do this, Kirby will have to journey to Floarald, a floating world, by climbing up the “World Tree,” which looks like a gigantic beanstalk.

 

As previously reported, Kirby Triple Deluxe will feature power-ups like Beetle Kirby and Big Bang Kirby. All in all, the game will have over 20 different copy powers to use, and while they haven’t all been detailed yet, you can view artwork for some of them below.

 

Kirby Triple Deluxe is slated for release in Japan on January 11th, 2014. You can find a variety of gamplay videos on the game’s official website.
