As some of our readers may recall, Hideo Kojima and Steins;Gate publisher, Mages (formerly 5pb), are working on a project together. In a new episode of Kojima Productions’ “Hideradio” program, Kojima brought in Mages head, Chiyomaru Shikura, to discuss the collaboration.

The project is an adventure game developed by Mages on which Kojima is serving as producer instead of director.

Shikura and Kojima also revealed that plans for an anime adaptation were developed alongside the game from the very beginning. It appears as though Shikura is also considering the project for overseas release.

While details on the game are still scant, it will star a second-year high school student. It will be released sometime next year.
