There will be a reason to return to La-Mulana 2 soon. Playism announced La-Mulana 2 Tower of Oannes DLC is on the way. This will be a challenging new area, which is described as being as difficult as the optional Hell Temple. It will launch in 2021. A price hasn’t been set for it yet.
While the Tower of Oannes is entirely knew, the name might sound familiar. That’s because before it was confirmed as La-Mulana 2 DLC, people alrady knew it existed. There were some details suggesting it would appear outside the village, past its jungle. However, there was no confirmation about it or official appearance.
La-Mulana 2 has quite a development history. The game earned $266,670 on Kickstarter back in February 2014. Then, four years later, it showed up in July 2018. The console versions showed up after that. People could get La-Mulana 1 & 2 and have access to both games on the Switch, PS4, and Xbox One. At the moment, the Playism announcement for the DLC referenced the PC version of the game.
La-Mulana 2 is available for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The La-Mulana 2 Tower of Oannes DLC will debut sometime in 2021. The PC version of the game is on sale until May 22, 2021 in honor of Playism’s 10th anniversary.
