Cygames announced its Umamusume: Pretty Derby 7th Event: The Stage concerts in Los Angeles scheduled to appear at the LA Peacock Theater due to the US visa issues for the characters’ voice actresses, who are also the singers for all the songs in the game and show. Despite filing for the visas over six months ago, the current administration did not approve and sign them. The shows will now not happen as planned between October 22-23, 2026, and Cygames will issue physical and streaming ticket refunds.
With the Umamusume: Pretty Derby 7th Event: The Stage LA concerts and other performances, the voice actresses for different characters appear and perform and would need a US visa to enter the country as a result. As such, it isn’t a situation in which Cygames could find alternate performers, as the performers behind characters like Tokai Teio (Machico), Oguri Cap (Tomoyo Takayanagi), Haru Urara (Yukina Shuto), Yui Ogura (Manhattan Cafe), Grass Wonder (Rena Maeda), El Condor Pasa (Minami Takahashi), Meisho Doto (Misaki Watada), Nice Nature (Kaori Maeda), Kitasan Black (Hinaki Yano), Satono Diamond (Hina Tachibana), and others were scheduled to appear.
When Kuro Games faced this issue with the Wuthering Waves To the New World concert at the Peacock Theater in LA on October 17, 2026, it found a replacement for singer Tarokiki when this same sort of US visa issue came up. That wasn’t an option here. However, while Kuro did find a way to push on, it also did offer refunds to people as a result of the show not being what everyone initially expected it to be.
While the Umamusume: Pretty Derby 7th Event: The Stage LA concerts are canceled due to the US visa situation caused by the current administration, there are three more stops still planned. Shows in London, England, Seoul, South Korea, and Yokohama, Japan will be held. There are no dates for those stops yet.
Umamusume: Pretty Derby is on PCs and Android and iOS mobile devices.
