The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III Sold Through About 80% Of Its Initial Shipment

The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III released in Japan on September 28 and since its launch it’s been doing quite well for itself with a sell-through rate of about 80% according to Dengeki’s sales report.

 

Of all the software that released between September 25 to October 1, 2017, The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III debuted at top with 93,289 units sold on PS4, according to Dengeki’s sales tracker.

 

While it didn’t reach numbers we saw from the previous two multiplatform entries in The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel and Trails of Cold Steel II on PS3 and PS Vita, The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III sold through about 80% of its initial shipment, making it quite the success for Falcom.

 

At #2 the list has FIFA 18 at 50,325 to make its performance higher than its previous entry from last year’s FIFA 17.

 

Lastly, at #3 we have Fire Emblem Warriors which sold 39,200 units on Switch and at #6 with 20,278 units on 3DS for a total of 59,478 units between the two. Dengeki reports its sell-through rate to be at about 50% of its initial shipment.

 

The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III is available in Japan for PlayStation 4. A Western release has yet to be announced.
