You may recall that in Japan, Capcom and Nintendo collaborated to bring Link’s tunic and equipment from The Legend of Zelda into Monster Hunter 4. Capcom USA confirmed today that these will be included in the Western release of Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate as well. You can view them in the trailer below.
The Link equipment includes Link’s tunic, the bow, Master Sword and Hylian Shield. Over on Capcom Unity, Capcom tease that they have other special equipment planned for the game as well, that they will be announcing soon.
They could be referring to the Mario and Luigi costumes for the Felynes, but the use of the word “equipment” makes it sound as though it could be something else.
Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate will be released in North America and Europe in early 2015.
