Brachdios may be the star monster in Monster Hunter 3G, but the volcano dweller isn’t the only new monster in the Nintendo 3DS version. Plesioth returns and this time players will have to fight the wyvern underwater. Capcom adjusted Plesioth by giving it a deafening roar and made the monster fast underwater.
The flagship monster Brachdios drops puddles of green slime when it attacks hunters with its hind limbs. These globs of goo are time bombs and explore after a set amount of time.
The Pink Rathian’s main attack is swinging her poisonous tail.
Compared to other Rathalos, the Azure Rathalos in Monster Hunter 3G is more mobile and likes to swoop in its prey.
Monster Hunter 3G comes out in Japan on December 10.
