Lookout Wii owners! Ninjabread Man is coming to save the day?

The rumored partnership between Conspiracy Entertainment and Data Design Interactive in Europe is real. The deal between the two companies allows Conspiracy Entertainment to publish the 30+ Nintendo Wii titles set to come out this year in North America and Asia. Thirty games sounds like an overly ambitious number to develop in a year, but it’s definitely possible since most of these Wii games are ports of Metro 3D's existing PS2 titles. Ninjabread Man, the hero who is out to save Candy Land, has his game altered to include motion controlled sword swings.

If Conspiracy Entertainment and Data Design manage to ship out 30 titles, their budget software will be a significant percentage of the total Wii software on the market. Flooding the market with cheaply made software is the fastest way to kill a brand and a console. Remember what happened to the 2600?
