Love Plus Picture App Announced for iPhone and iPad

What’s the best way to make a phenomenon even bigger? By making it cheaper and more widely available of course! And that’s exactly what Konami are doing with LovePlus, with three iPhone / iPad apps priced at 600 yen ($6.30) each, that allow you to take commemorative photographs with each of the game’s three heroines.

The catch is that the photographs are augmented reality displays, which means you can take a picture of Nene Anegasaki standing in your room. The apps also include a calender, a voice clock and “other functions to offer entertaining communication.” At a later date, Konami plan to add some sort of event-based GPS functionality.

Thanks to Tim for the awesome tip!
