Klei Entertainment, developers of Mark of the Ninja, have announced their next gameIncognita. While Klei themselves haven’t announced further details, IGN reports that Incognita is a “turn-based tactical espionage” game.

Incognita is heavily inspired by XCOM, which is a game that designer Jason Dreger “adores”. The focus of the game is breaking into and stealing from heavily-guarded and secure locales.

Says studio co-founder Jamie Cheng, “In the majority of turn-based games, positioning is your number one priority… From our standpoint, we wanted to make a game where information is one of the key things that you want.”

Incognita is in development for PC, with Mac and Linux versions to follow.
