Marvel vs. Capcom 3 Dashes To Stores February 15th, 2011 [Update]

Earlier today, we reported the limited edition of Marvel vs. Capcom 3. Here’s a quick recap of what the $69.99 edition of the game comes with:

• A Steelbook case featuring exclusive art work
• A 12-page prologue comic/art book, written by Marvel writer Frank Tieri, plus campaign art and a selection of fan art.
• A one-month subscription to Marvel Digital Comics.
• 2 DLC Characters – Shuma Gorath and Jill Valentine in her Resident Evil 5 battlesuit – available four weeks from launch.

In addition, Gamestop purchasers get an exclusive decal set, featuring Ryu, Wolverine, Deadpool and Dante, that isn’t part of the regular limited edition. Capcom also confirmed a release date for Marvel vs. Capcom 3 today, and the game is coming sooner than you might have suspected.

Originally slated for Spring 2011, the game is now planned for a February 15th, 2011 launch for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in North America and February 18th in Europe.
