Since Pokémon GO’s launch in Japan on July 21st, a partnership with McDonald’s restaurants in Japan has helped draw in customers, giving the chain a sizable boost in business. [Thanks, Ad Age.]

The increase in sales comes from a collaboration between McDonald’s and the super-popular mobile game, which transformed approximately 3,000 of the restaurants across Japan into PokéStops and PokéGyms.

This partnership with Pokémon GO has paid off in a big way so far, with McDonald’s seeing a 27% jump in sales in July, as well as the higher demand for Pokémon toys to be included in children’s meals.

Pokémon GO is available for iOS and Android devices.
