Microsoft Hands Ninety-Nine Nights II To Konami

Microsoft quickly mentioned Ninety-Nine Nights II was in development at Tokyo Game Show last year. Feelplus was named the developer instead of Phantagram and that was it.

We saw a scan in Famitsu confirming it still exists, but Microsoft hasn’t said much about Ninety-Nine Nights II. Now we know why.

 

At their 2009 Xbox 360 Media Briefing in Japan, Microsoft announced Konami will publish Ninety-Nine Nights II instead. The game’s release date has been changed from a 2009 release, according to the last Famitsu report, to TBD.

 

This isn’t the first time Microsoft gave a first party game to another publisher. Microsoft funded and planned to publish Infinite Undiscovery before handing the title to Square Enix.
