Mistwalker: “We Are Working On Several Projects”

Having wrapped up work on The Last Story, Mistwalker founder, Hironobu Sakaguchi, is working on iOS games. Three iOS games, one of which is about surfing. But is that all that Mistwalker, the designers of lovingly-crafted games such as Lost Odyssey and The Last Story, are working on?

We got in touch with Mistwalker to ask. A representative simply told us: “We are working on several projects. We appreciate your interest.”

Not nearly satisfied enough with that answer, we pressed further, asking if “several projects” included games for traditional consoles or portable devices. Once again, we were told: “At this moment, the only thing I can say is that we are working on several projects.”

That answer could be interpreted in a number of ways, but for now, it’s the best we’ve got. Perhaps, in the future, we’ll find out more as Mistwalker’s other games come to light.
