Monster Hunter: World kicked off limited-time “Appreciation Fest” events ahead of its 2nd anniversary on January 26.
Both Seliana Grand Appreciation Fest and Astera Appreciation Fest are available for a limited time through February 13, 2020 at 7:00pm EST.
Seasonal Event Activities
- Layered armor – Complete limited-time event quests for materials to craft special layered armor, such as the Astral set and Elder Dragons’ γ series!
- Increased login bonuses – Lucky Vouchers increased to 3 per day, and login bonuses also include Appreciation Tickets and Gratitude Tickets!
- Daily limited bounties – Complete limited bounties to get Appreciation Tickets, Appreciation Fireworks, Gratitude Tickets, and Snowmen!
- Discounts at base facilities
- New Handler outfits available for a limited time
- Special platters available at the Gathering Hub Canteen
- New Poogie clothing and guild card titles, backgrounds, and poses
- Tons of event quests available – Nearly all event quests are live now!

Seliana Grand Appreciation Fest

Collect VIP Gratitude Tickets
For the duration of the event, you can obtain VIP Gratitude Tickets from Low Level Hunter Helper Rewards or from the Special Rewards from master rank quests and expeditions. There are pendants and special layered armor that can only be forged with VIP Gratitude Tickets, so don’t miss out!
If you activate the bonus skill from the Astral α+ armor set, you’ll have an increased chance to get VIP Gratitude Tickets!
A new look for the Snowman!?
Even the Snowman field item is getting into the celebration with a new limited-time design!
Interact with a Snowman to pick up Snowballs that you can throw at other players!
