The first PlayStation State of Play video ended with a new Mortal Kombat 11 trailer. While the focus of it was to showcase how past and present versions of characters would be pulled into the fight and pitted against one another, it also served another focus. It gave people a good look at the variations of Jax, Liu Kang, and Kung Lao that will be present in the game.
Previous footage has suggested characters like Jax, Liu Kang, and Kung Lao would be present, but all three appeared in full force in this trailer. This means we saw the past and present versions of them, as well as Jax’s interactions with his daughter, Jacqui Briggs. There are also plenty of past and present Johnny Cage moments.

Other character appearing in Mortal Kombat 11 include Baraka, Geras, Kano, Kronika, Raiden, Scorpion, Skarlet, Sonya Blade, Sub-Zero, D’Vorah, Kabal, Jade, Johnny Cage, Cassie Cage, Kotal Kahn, and Noob Saibot.
Mortal Kombat 11 will come to the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on April 23, 2019. The closed beta will begin on March 27, 2019, and it will also be at EVO 2019.
