Ultra  adds new features to the existing game, such as new weapons and enemies, new modes and a perks system that allows you to upgrade yourself with additional abilities. There are new local and online co-op and head-to-head modes as well, and the game comes with 1.5 hours of indie music.

Unfortunately, Beat Hazard Ultra was rejected by Microsoft for release on Xbox Live Arcade. The PlayStation Network version will be released on October 18th/19th in the U.S. and Europe for $9.99/£6.49.
