Outside of My Hero Academia Ultra Rumble being a battle royale title, little is currently known about the game. This includes the developers that will be working on the title. More information regarding the game will appear sometime in the future. It is also unclear if cross-platform play will be possible for the title.

In December 2021, studio Bones announced My Hero Academia season 6 will release sometime in Fall 2022. Additionally, Bones released a trailer alongside the announcement. Previously, the studio shared a promotional image. This featured an illustration of the protagonist Deku and main antagonist Shigaraki. Production on season 6 began in September 2021. However, the studio hasn’t announced a Western release date for the season.

My Hero Academia Ultra Rumble is in development for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
