Back when the My Hero One’s Justice 2 preorder bonus and collector’s edition was first announced, Bandai Namco was being coy about the additional characters that would be a part of the preorder bonuses. It confirmed that everyone who called early dibs on a copy of the fighter would get Nomu, but didn’t say the other two characters who would be early unlocks. Now, their identities have been revealed via Twitter and a video showing them in action. People will get early access to Deku Full Cowl 100% and Kai Chisaki Ver.2.
Both Deku Full Cowl 100% and Kai Chisaki Ver.2 will be available for everyone in My Hero One’s Justice 2. People who preorder the game will get a code that allows them immediate access to both versions of the fighters.
Editor’s Note: Spoilers below explain how these two forms of Deku and Overhaul come to exist.
In My Hero Academia, Izuku Midoriya ends up activating One for All 100% when trying to save Eri from Overhaul. When fighting against him, she uses her Rewind Quirk to allow him to use One for All: Full Cowling 100%. While Eri isn’t present in the game version of Deku Full Cowling 100%, there is the assumption that her aid is allowing him to maintain that level of power.
As for Overhaul, he changes into this form after he uses his Quirk to merge his body with Shin Nemoto’s. This causes him to get the additional two black arms with claws on them and Nemoto’s Confession Quirk.
My Hero One’s Justice 2 will be released on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One in Japan on March 12, 2020 and in other regions on March 13, 2020. The Collector’s Edition includes an LED Deku statue.
