Namco Bandai have shipped over 500,000 copies of God Eater 2 for the game’s launch, which was held in Japan today, Famitsu reports.

Next week will provide us with some concrete first-week sales figures for the game. We’ll have more to report as further sales data is made available.

God Eater 2 is available for both PSP and PlayStation Vita. A demo version of the game is available for both platforms via PlayStation Network as well.
