Naruto and Boruto Sanrio Pop-up Shop Coming to Tokyo

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Naruto and Boruto franchise, the series’ official website revealed a new pop-up shop collaboration with Sanrio. It will feature popular characters from both franchises paired up. The collaboration will begin in Japan on August 25, 2023, and it will last until September 7, 2023. The items will also be available to purchase from the Tokyo Character Street online storefront.

The new Naruto and Boruto Sanrio pop-up shop will be located at the Tokyo Character Street, inside First Avenue Tokyo Station. The new merchandise features newly drawn illustrations of Naruto and Boruto characters accompanied by popular Sanrio characters, as well as wearing various Sanrio-themed accessories. Additionally, a limited number of novelty stickers will be given as a gift to customers.

Here is the full list of goods being sold as part of the new collaboration:

  • Acrylic stands – 1,100 yen (~$7)
  • Chibi style plushies – 3,850 yen (~$26)
  • Clear multi-purpose case – 1,100 yen (~$7)
  • Keychain plushies – 2,200 yen (~$15)
  • Scene photo acrylic blocks – 990 yen (~$6)

Previous recent Naruto and Boruto pop-up shops featured characters from the manga and anime series in a theme park-inspired setting, as well as dressed as bookstore employees.

The new Naruto and Boruto pop-up shop collaboration with Sanrio will appear in Tokyo Character Street, located inside the Tokyo Station, between August 25 and September 7, 2023. The items will also be available from the Tokyo Character Street online storefront.
