Naruto: Ninja Council 3 screenshots

Some media outlets have been incorrectly reporting that Naruto: Ninja Council 3 is Naruto: Saikyou Ninja Daikesshuu 3. It’s actually Naruto: Saikyou Ninja Daikesshuu 4, an arena fighter where four different fighters can clash at the same time. The Japanese game was set past the “Rescue Sasuke Arc”, which means there are probably going to be some changes to make it fit the current “Invasion of the Leaf Village” arc. I’m curious to see how D3 is going to put together the US version, which we’re getting sometime in the tail end of Spring ’07. See the screenshots below and compare them to our Naruto: Saikyou Ninja Daikesshuu 4 playtest, you’ll see which game this really is.
