Banner Saga publisher Versus Evil are going to be releasing an Afro Samurai game, they announced this morning. The game is being developed by Redacted Studios for PC and next-gen consoles.

Afro Samurai will be a third-person action-adventure game with an original storyline, new characters, and improved special moves and combos that “firmly [establish] the franchise as the undisputed leader in dynamic dismemberment”.

In addition to the Afro Samurai game, Versus Evil are also publishing Kyn, a Viking-inspired strategy RPG for PC, Mac and Linux.
