Even more Animal Crossing personal marker charms of characters will show up in Japan and potentially worldwide as Bandai Namco Gashapon machines will feature a collection of seven that can be used as accessories or keychains. These will appear the week of October 25, 2026 in Japan. A random try will cost 400 yen (~$2.50). As Gashapon US and Canadian branches are open, we could see these worldwide like the Pikmin and Super Mario ones eventually.
Each of these Animal Crossing charms based on characters characters features a somewhat translucent and glossy plastic figure attached to a lobster claw clip connected to a stretchy band, allowing them to be used attached to keys, zippers, or as a marker for a bottle or umbrella. Two of the characters appearing are the major NPCs Isabelle and Tom Nook. The others are Animal Crossing: New Horizons villagers who can move in and become neighbors. Those are Apollo the eagle, Beau the deer, Dom the sheep, Goldie the dog, and Raymond the cat. If they follow the tradition of past items, they should probably each be under an inch tall.
Here’s how all seven will look.

This follows a Takara Tomy run of gachapon Animal Crossing personal marker charms that showed up in Japanese capsule machines in August 2026. That also featured Isabelle and Tom Nook, as well as villagers Hamlet, Rosie, and Sally, but prioritized NPC characters more. Those featured additional connectors that allowed someone to create a chain of characters if they bought more than one.
The Bandai Namco Animal Crossing charms will show up in Japanese Gashapon capsule machines the week of October 25, 2026, and we could see it worldwide after. The most recent entry in the series is Animal Crossing: New Horizons for the Switch and Switch 2.
