New Art Academy software is in development for Wii U, Nintendo shared during a Nintendo Direct presentation this morning.

The game is not close to completion yet, but Nintendo say they’ve taken notice of the talented drawings being shared via Miiverse, and that they will release a piece of software ahead of Art Academy’s release that makes certain features from the game available for creating drawings and sharing them on Miiverse.

Using this software, you’ll be able to create drawings using colours, pastels and more, and share them on the Miiverse community. The software will be available for download this Summer on Nintendo eShop.
