New Mai Shiranui Statue Is Almost 2 Feet Tall and Over $1,000

PJ Studio’s rather large Mai Shiranui statue is on the way as part of its 1/4 scale boutique series figure line. The company is working on a model of the heroine based on her The King of Fighters XIII appearance. It will stand at 54 cm, almost two feet, tall. It is expected to ship at the end of 2021. It will cost $1,049.99. [Thanks, Wario64!]

While the PJ Studio Mai Shiranui figure is made of the standard materials, there are some special accents. For example, it is a polystone, PU and resin figure, but her eyes are made of glass. She’s wearing her traditional costume from the game and wielding her fan. It also looks as though she’s in the midst of using one of her pyrokinetic attacks.

Here’s a look at the Mai Shiranui statue. The official images offer a better look at her face. There is also a full figure image that offers an idea of how much space you need to display her.

Mai Shiranui’s next appearance will be in The King of Fighters XV. She’ll wear the same outfit in it as she did in KOF XIV.

The PJ Studio Mai Shiranui statue is expected to ship in Q4 2021. At the moment, Big Bad Toy Store is taking pre-orders for it.
