Nintendo kicked off November by confirming the new Pokemon Pokopia DLC is called Dazzling Decorations and setting a release date for it on social media. It will debut on December 9, 2026. This is the second of three add-ons in the Expansion Pass for the Switch 2 game.
As already established, this add-on won’t feature an additional town and biome for us to set up. Instead, we’re getting the ability to add accessories to our Ditto avatar and the Pokemon we’ve gotten to return to cities. Ahead of this reveal, we learned Snubbull would be part of the pack, and NPCs like Peakychu would be able to dress up. There’s no trailer to accompany the announcement, only a new key visual of Ditto and Peakychu wearing accessories appeared alongside this reveal. However, we can expect new accessories for everyone and new Pokemon that could be lured by the new habitats created from new furniture pieces.
The last Pokemon Pokopia add-on was Bubbly Basin. That showed up in August 2026. It involved a new underwater area, lots of water-type characters, and underwater building options. A free update appeared at the same time that unlocked the Dive ability for Ditto.
Pokemon Pokopia is on the Switch 2 now and gets the new Dazzling Decorations DLC on the December 9, 2026 release date. Bubbly Basin is already available, and the third add-on in the Expansion Pass is expected to launch in 2027.
