October 2026 kicked off with two new manga series under the Shonen Jump umbrella called Digimon Eggs and Noro-Noro Puku-Puku. The former is in Saikyo Jump, just like fellow game manga adaptation Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave. The latter series is a Shonen Jump+ series. Both are running in English on Manga Plus, with the first chapters of each available.
The Digimon Eggs manga actually appeared first. The initial chapter of that debuted on October 1, 2026. It stars seventh grader Izumo Rindo, who lives with his older sister Kushina. The two are barely getting by, since their mom died. However, Izumo isn’t alone, as he discovered a Digimon named Suzumon when trying out an old computer. A Digimon Egg came out, which he named Maga after the noise it makes. He figures by researching the unknown creature, it might help him make money for him and his sister. However, at the same time, unknown technological incidents are also popping up tied to Digimon, and Izumi and his partner face them to protect people and earn money.
As that will run on a monthly schedule, it will be a while until the next chapter of the Digimon Eggs manga. It won’t appear until November 3, 2026.
However, the new Shonen Jump manga Noro-Noro Puku-Puku will appear more frequently. That’s on a weekly schedule. Suzu Narase is a high school miko (shrine maiden) who is basically running a snake oil scam by claiming visitors are cursed and need her Ultra Holy Water to be cleansed. As a result, god hits her with lightning so he can speak with her, cursing her in the process. She now has his agent Puku, a cat spirit, living in her hair and has to exorcise 108 curses as penance.
It won’t be too long before that next installment. It will debut on October 11, 2026.
