Following a limited release on Nintendo Today, Nintendo and Intelligent Systems now shared the first Chapter 0 of the Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave manga in English online. It is available on the Fire Emblem World official site. However, while it is in Saikyo Jump and Shonen Jump+ in Japan, it isn’t showing up in English on sites like Manga Plus or Viz Media worldwide.
We learned about the manga adaptation of Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave ahead of the game’s launch, and it started running in Japan on September 4, 2026 before the title debuted. It’s a loose adaptation of the game’s events. As such, rather than strictly following a specific Part 1 character’s tale 1:1, Kazuro Kyou tells the story with multiple Flame Lords, major supporting cast members, and even Eshmel appearing. In the case of the Chapter 0 prologue, the people who get the most attention are actually Seteth, Orchel, and Cai.
In addition, Nintendo Switch Online is offering custom icon options featuring Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave characters. At the moment, the focus is on characters tied to Theodora and Talimun’s factions. Those will be around until October 1, 2026. The previous round featured folks associated with Cai. Starting on October 1, 2026, we’ll see people who side with Dietrich.
Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave is available on the Switch 2 and has a spin-off manga running in Japan.
