A brand-new update will be hitting Pokémon GO soon, bringing the app to version 1.9. This latest patch brings with it a couple of new changes, including the ability for Pokémon GO Plus users to capture Pokémon with the Incense item. Additionally, Pokémon will now display the location they were caught on their information screen. This feature was a part of the initial launch, yet had to be removed in the beginning because of its tendency to be buggy.
