Anne Beuttenmüller, Niantic’s Head of Marketing EMEA, recently discussed Pokémon GO’s trainer versus trainer battles in an interview with Gram, a Polish site. When asked about new developments in the game, Beuttenmüller said that Niantic is both working on improving trading and implementing PvP mode. (Thanks, Gram.pl!)

Beuttenmüller notes that Pokémon GO PvP is in development. She also says that by the end of 2018, they would like to add this competitive PvP mode to the game.

Later in the interview, Beuttenmüller notes that more Pokémon will be added to Pokémon GO. However, she does not have a release window for their appearance. She also notes that this game has been a great success for Niantic and that the last eight months has brought additions like trading, AR plus mode, weather conditions and special tasks.

Pokémon GO is immediately available for Android and Apple iOS devices.
