It turns out the 2B Nendoroid won’t have to go it alone. There will be a 9S Nendoroid by her side. Good Smile Company announced that it is working on a figure of the other NieR: Automata protagonist. This will be the second NieR: Automata Nendoroid and means that the only character left out is A2.
We only have a picture of the painted prototype for the 9S Nendoroid so far. However, it did appear with a familiar friend: Pod 153. 9S will also come with at least one sword, so he’ll be prepared to fight against the machines.

The 9S Nendoroid won’t be lonely, as quite a few figures of the character have appeared lately. Back in November 2020, Square Enix announced a Play Arts Kai one. It also confirmed a $149.99 Flare figure will appear in 2022.
While A2 doesn’t have a Nendoroid yet, there’s another NieR hero who does. A NieR Replicant Nendoroid of Nier will appear in June 2021.
Good Smile Company’s NieR: Automata 9S Nendoroid is in development. It doesn’t have a release date yet.
