After announcing that the team has finished the English localization for NieR Reincarnation, Matsukawa ended his status update on an exciting note. He asked fans to wait a bit longer and look forward to an announcement. The director specifically called out the title’s release in North America and Europe.

And here’s a very brief look at the game running in English, including a voiced line from Mama.

NieR Reincarnation launched in Japan on February 18, 2021. Between launch and April 2021, the mobile title racked up more than ten million downloads and collaborated with other titles in the game’s extended universe, like NieR Replicant. Most recently, Square Enix announced an in-game event with Drakengard 3‘s protagonists Zero and Mikhail.

NieR Reincarnation is available now on Android and iOS devices in Japan. The game’s director said an announcement regarding pre-registration for the English version is coming.
