People have a chance to look like Emil from NieR Replicant (or NieR series creator Yoko Taro) with a new Instagram filter. The official Twitter account for the game announced an opportunity to get the look without owning the mask. A new QR code lets you look like him instantly.
Here’s the tweet with QR code. Someone will need to have Instagram installed to take advantage of the filter.

Note that the Emil head in this NieR Replicant Instagram filter is quite large, which means that having a device like a selfie stick might make it easier to get the entire face in the photo.
Companies releasing Instragram filters to promote games isn’t too unconventional. For example, Atlus West shared some in honor of Persona 5 Royal. Those gave people masks inspired by the different Phantom Thieves.
NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139 will come to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on April 23, 2021. Free DLC will appear after launch and add new weapons. A new broadcast talking about the game will appear on April 22, 2021.
