Nijisanji EN will debut Noctyx, its fifth wave of VTubers, on February 26, 2022. Noctyx’s first stream, as well as its first single “Stuck In The Abyss,” will premiere at 6PM PST/9PM EST. For those in Japan, that’s February 27, 2022 at 11AM. Like Nijisanji EN’s previous unit Luxiem, Noctyx consists of five male VTubers.
According to the Nijisanji EN YouTube channel, Noctyx’s lore will focus on time travel. The five members of this unit are:
The members have already started posting on Twitter, allowing fans to get a look at their personalities prior to their debut. In the teaser, Sonny’s title is “Officer” and his bio on Twitter says that he is “the law.” The Japanese text makes it clearer that he is the captain of a special unit. Yugo is a DJ, while Alban is a phantom thief. Lastly, Uki is a psychic, and Fulgur is a cyborg.
Earlier Nijisanji EN units comprise of Lazulight, Obsydia, Ethyria, and Luxiem. Prior to Luxiem, all of the Nijisanji EN VTuber groups consisted of girl members. In January 2022, the Lazulight girls got new models and outfits and released goods of said new looks.
Noctyx will have its debut stream on February 26, 2022 at 6PM PST/9PM EST. It will also unveil its first single “Stuck In The Abyss” on that date.
