DmC Devil May Cry developer Ninja Theory are going to announce a brand new I.P. today at Gamescom, the developer revealed during a GDC Europe presentation.
Earlier in the week, Ninja Theory stated: “For those asking: Our new project is a new IP. Not a sequel to any of our previous titles.”
This new game, Ninja Theory said, “feels and looks AAA, but will be smaller, lower priced and delivered independently”. The studio said that the game is meant to serve as a solution in between AAA development and independent development.
“We owe a lot to our publishers and are working on several projects with publishers,” the studio clarified. “This isn’t a ‘stick it to the man’ talk.”
The title, the studio said, will be “a game that we make for Ninja Theory fans”.
