Nintendo 3DS Software Sales Reach 40 Million In U.S.

Following yesterday’s NPD Report for the month of July, Nintendo of America shared sales figures for some of Nintendo’s games in the U.S. market. You can find the full list below. It focuses entirely on Nintendo 3DS titles.   Mario Kart 7: 3.48 million Super Mario 3D Land: 3.09 million New Super Mario Bros. 2: 2.28 million Pokémon X: 2.10 million Pokémon Y: 2.01 million The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D: 1.39 million Animal Crossing: New Leaf: 1.36 million Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon: 1.33 million The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds: 1.09 million   Nintendo said over 40 million units of Nintendo 3DS software have been sold in the U.S. alone. Additionally, nine 3DS titles have sold at least 1 million copies in the U.S.   Nintendo also said that Mario Kart 8 for Wii U has crossed 1 million copies sold in the U.S., while New Super Mario Bros. U has sold 1.69 million copies.
