Nintendo of America have created a new position at their Redmond, Washington headquarters—the Senior VP of Network Business, whose job it will be to spearhead the development of NOA’s digital and online strategy for the Nintendo 3DS and Wii U.

Starting July 1st, Duncan Orrell-Jones will take on this position and will report directly to NOA president, Reggie Fils-Aime. Prior to joining Nintendo, Orell-Jones worked at Disney, where he was responsible for expanding the company’s games business outside North America. Prior to that, he was the Senior VP of the Disney Interactive Media Group in Tokyo.

"Duncan Orrell-Jones brings knowledge and hands-on experience to Nintendo that will help us develop and implement long-term digital initiatives for our systems," NOA president Reggie Fils-Aime said. "By creating this new position we’re demonstrating our commitment to the expansion of our online business, and Duncan is the perfect person for the job."
