Justin sent over a link to Nintendo’s end of fiscal year 2008 report (thanks!!) that contains a handy calendar of upcoming releases in English. Oh, Daigasso! Band Brothers DX will come out in Japan on June 26. Disaster: Day of Crisis is scheduled for a release on July 3. Great.
Justin went a step further and noticed the release date for Dragon Quest V has Hand of the Heavenly Bride as the subtitle. We previously mentioned Square Enix trademarked Hand of the Heavenly Bride. Coincidence?
While perusing the statement I noticed Shiren the Wanderer 3 has a quizzical subtitle. The game is called Shiren the Wanderer 3: Karakuri Yashiki no Nemuri Hime in Japan. The subtitle translates to something like the Sleeping Princess in Karakuri Mansion. However, Nintendo’s statement has the subtitle as The Sleeping Princess in the Clockwork Palace. It’s slightly different and feels slightly localized. Hopefully, this is a sign of more adventures with Shiren.
