A The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake Nintendo Store midnight launch will be held in the two US locations on November 5, 2026. However, things will actually happen at 12am-2am ET at the New York store and 9pm-11pm PT at the one in San Francisco. To sign up to attend, people need to register at 3pm PT/6pm ET on October 26, 2026.
Nintendo opened sites for registering for the New York and San Francisco The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time midnight launch events at the two stores ahead of registration opening. People who log in can get a Warp Pipe Pass while supplies last. Holding one grants you entry once the event starts, then allows you to purchase a single copy of the Switch 2 game. Buying the game will also allow people to get an unspecified “free gift” with it.
There will be other The Legend of Zelda items sold at the Nintendo Store New York and San Francisco locations during the Ocarina of Time remake midnight launch event. Each one will also be limited to one per customer, just like the game. The company didn’t note how many console bundles it expects to offer at each store.
Here’s the full list of additional items that will be sold during that time period:
- The Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary Switch 2 carrying case with screen protector.
- The Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary Switch 2 Pro Controller.
- The Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary Switch 2 Pro Controller with stand.
- The Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary Switch 2 system.
This isn’t the only midnight launch event for the game. Best Buy also confirmed it will hold one at some stores. There’s an official site to check to see which locations will participate in that event.
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake will come to the Switch 2 worldwide on November 5, 2026.
