We aren’t getting Australia and New Zealand’s Pokemon Pokopia Switch 2 console bundle, but Nintendo confirmed another one with that and two other games as options will appear in North America. The company confirmed a Switch 2 Choose Your Game Bundle will launch in “early June.” It will include one of three games and a system for $499.99. This basically replaces the last Switch 2 with Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2 offer available at major storefronts.
Here’s how the offer works. You pick up the special bundle for $499.99. When you get the Switch 2 home, get it set up, and connect to the Nintendo eShop, you can use an included download code for Nintendo that is packed in the Choose Your Own Game Bundle. When redeemed, you can then select one of three first-party titles as your free title. The options are the action-adventure game Donkey Kong Bananza, the racing game Mario Kart World, or the building and collection simulation Pokemon Pokopia. You then get a digital copy of the one you picked to play.
This comes ahead of a planned Switch 2 price increase. Costs are going up worldwide due to things like the AI-caused RAM shortage, shipping costs tied to the Iran war, and US President Donald Trump’s tariffs. In the US, the price of a console alone will go from $449.99 to $499.99 on September 1, 2026. Nintendo didn’t mention how long this bundle will be available, so it’s unknown if the price of it will go up by $50 on that date.
The Nintendo Switch 2 Choose Your Game Bundle that Donkey Kong Bananza, Mario Kart World, or Pokemon Pokopia with your system debuts in June 2026 in the US.
