Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath Rides To PlayStation Network In HD

The PlayStation 3 received another “HD edition” this week from Oddworld Inhabitants, the developers of the Oddworld series. In collaboration with a developer named Just Add Water, Oddworld Inhabitants have released OddWorld: Stranger’s Wrath HD on PlayStation Network.

Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath was originally an Xbox game. You play as a bounty hunter named Stranger, who captures outlaws for money in a Wild West setting, in order to fund a mysterious surgical procedure. The game switches between first and third-person views, depending on what you’re doing.

Oddworld Inhabitants released the HD version of the game for $15. It has upgraded visuals and runs at 60 frames-per-second. A PC version will follow in the months to come, and a Vita port is planned sometime down the line as well.
