There will be four design variants available in this lineup. Three of them will be white-colored and feature Amaterasu, the game’s protagonist. The last one will be blue and instead feature Okikurumi, who is better known in the English releases as Oki.

These items will be available at random not only in Capcom’s physical storefronts, but also on its Online Parco webstore at ¥660 (~$4.35) apiece. In addition, Capcom will sell a special edition of the drawstring purse that features eight candies inspired by the in-game fortune gems at ¥990 (~$6.50). While the Japanese web store supports international orders via Buyee in overall, it is yet to be known whether these bags will also be compatible or not.

These drawstring purses will be based on the Japanese mythology-themed action-adventure game that first came out for PlayStation 2 in 2006 and Wii in 2008. Capcom has also since released the Okami HD remaster for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PC, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. During The Game Awards in December 2024, Capcom revealed that a full-fledged sequel to Okami is in the works, with the original director and writer Hideki Kamiya returning.

The Okami drawstring purses will be available in Capcom’s Japanese physical and digital storefronts on Friday, October 24, 2025.
